5G Launch Event: 5G service has been launched in India. After PM Modi’s green signal, the country joined the list of countries using 5G service. However, it will take one to one and a half years for 5G internet service to spread. According to experts, 5G can reach the end of the year 2023 in every part of the country.
Swedish telecom company Ericsson has said that more than 100 million users of India will start using this 5G service by the end of 2023. According to the report, more than 100 million users in the country are ready to upgrade their 4G devices to 5G. The intent to upgrade to 5G is more than twice as high among urban Indian smartphone users as in countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom, where 5G networks have already rolled out.

According to research, the number of smartphone users buying 5G handsets in India has seen a three-fold increase in the last two years. Ericsson also claims that over 100 million users with 5G ready smartphones are looking to upgrade to a 5G subscription in 2023 and more than half of them are ready to upgrade to a high-speed data plan in the next 12 months.
Indians are ready to spend extra for 5G plans
Research has said that mobile users are ready to pay 45 percent more money to buy a 5G plan than for 4G. Meanwhile, Swedish telecom company Ericsson has announced the launch of the best ultra-lightweight massive “MIMO 32T32R” radio for India’s needs. According to the information, cloud gaming and high-resolution video streaming will see a significant increase due to the 5G network rollout.
