Azuki Will Release New Shōjo Comedy Manga I Fell For A Fujioshi

For those of you who read shōjo manga, a new title is on the way. digital manga subscription service azuki announced today that the romantic comedy manga i fell for a fujoshi Exclusively licensed for worldwide release in English by Toko.

The first two chapters will be available on the Azuki app on February 7th 2023 but a free preview is available now.

The manga was originally published in Comic Elmo, which previously published The Yakuza Guide to Babysitting and Natsume & Natsume. The series is about a high school boy who confesses to his childhood crush. But after a misunderstanding foils his plan, he must pretend to be a fan of Boys Love Manga in order to win her heart.

The series will be available to read for free with ads but a $4.99 per month premium subscription that unlocks Azuki’s full catalog of over 200 series is also available. If you’re unsure about price or content, readers have the option of trying Azuki out with a free 14-day trial.

If you’re a fan of romance capers, I Fell for a Fujoshi will be hard to pass up.

San Francisco, CA—Digital manga subscription service Azuki has exclusively licensed Toako’s romantic comedy manga i fell for a fujoshi For worldwide release in English. A free preview of the series is available to read in the Azuki app today and the first two chapters will launch on February 7th, 2023.

I Fell for Fujioshi is a shōjo manga by Toko, originally published in Comic Elmo by Micro Magazine, the same magazine as The Yakuza Guide to Babysitting and Natsume & Natsume. When handsome high school student Ichirou confesses to his childhood friend Tae, he expects glamorous first love straight out of his favorite shōjo manga. But his plan backfires, and Tae thinks he’s confessing his love for the boy’s love manga, not her! Now, in order to win the heart of this BL-addicted Fujoshi, Ichirou must pretend to be an obsession for all things BL. This unpredictable romantic comedy is full of hilarious misunderstandings and romance tropes gone wrong!
