Speaking about how his love story with Mugdha has grown and blossomed over the years, Rahul exclusively told ETimes, “It has matured over the years. We both feel a lot more settled and comfortable together. Like a lot of people, we spent a lot of time together during the first lockdown. There’s trust yet healthy space within the relationship, wherein either of us wants the other to progress in a holistic, complete manner minus the pressure. I can firmly state that the relationship has solidified over the years.”
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes in 2021, the actor had spoken about how Mugdha and he are happy in their own space and are not thinking about marriage. We now asked him if they are open to the thought of having a child together. Replying to the same, the actor added, “We are both happy with the way things are, busy in the pursuit of our work yet having the space and luxury of planning travel together. We just came back from an 18-day break. We were visiting our Master Tarneiv Ji in Canada. I have a grown up son from my late wife Rina. His name is Sidhant. Mugdha has a young nephew and niece and she takes keen interest in their development. So we are both more than happy the way things are.”
On the work front, Rahul will next be seen in Vikram Bhatt’s daughter Krishna Bhatt’s horror film which will be a sequel to the film, ‘1920’.
