Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan‘s action flick ‘Vikram Vedha’ saw a drop in collections on its first Monday at the box office. The film managed to rake in an estimated Rs 5.75 crore on day four at the ticket windows.
Going by the numbers on box office india.com, ‘Vikram Vedha’ saw a drop of almost 45%. Considering the low first weekend collections, it would have been favorable for the movie to see a maximum drop of 30% on its first weekday.
However, despite the drop, the film is expected to pull through till Diwali.
The East sectors saw higher collections that were boosted by the festive holidays. The film did good business in West Bengal and Odisha, something it is expected to enjoy till Dussehra. Trade experts predict that the movie will have a chance to boost its collections on Wednesday in North, West and Central circuits.
Going by the current trend, ‘Vikram Vedha’ is expected to wrap up week 1 with a total collection of Rs 60 crore nett.
