Saif confessed in an interview with Bollywood Bubble that this conversation has been going on with Ajay Devgn since 1999 ever since ‘Kacche Dhaage’ released. While he said he doesn’t really have a dream role, ‘Mahabharata’ would be a grand spectacle to witness on-screen, so he would like to act in it if someone makes it like ‘Lord Of The Rings’.
He further added that since Ajay and him have been having this conversation for a while so they’ll get the Mumbai film industry with the south if that’s possible. Saif added that the character of ‘Karana’ is more appealing to him, even though there are many other great characters. He also said that for his generation, even ‘Kacche Dhaage’ was a dream project.
After ‘Vikram Vedha’, Saif will be seen playing Raavana in ‘Adipurush’ which is the adaptation of ‘Ramayana’. The teaser of it has just been unveiled. The film is directed by Om Raut whose last release was ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. The film stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Ram and Sita.
